Moving over from Productboard

  1. 1Export notes and features to CSV
  2. 2Import in batches; links don't carry
  3. 3Connect sources and rank
How the move works

Export your notes and features to CSV and import them in batches; one rows import creates up to 500 signals. The links between notes and features aren't part of the file import, and there's no direct Productboard importer yet. docs

Before you switch

  • No release planning

Zentrik records task dependencies and plans in Now, Next and Later or on a timeline, but it has no release planning. source 1 · 2

  • Portal: no moderation or translations

Zentrik's portal has no moderation queue, translations or embedding yet. source 1 · 2

  • No launch-versus-goal check

Zentrik doesn't compare post-launch usage with a spec's goals. It marks work shipped from GitHub, re-checks a usage number in PostHog, and leaves the verdict to your team. source 1 · 2 · 3

A fair test

  1. 1Agree what “worked” means
  2. 2Pick ten past decisions with known results
  3. 3Load only the evidence from before each one
  4. 4See which tool ranked the winners higher
The full test plan

Agree first on what "worked" means, then pick ten past decisions whose results you know. In fresh workspaces, load only the feedback dated before each decision, so neither sees the outcome, and ask Productboard whether Spark's public web research can be switched off. Compare which ranks the winners higher and shows why. Then take one idea you are unsure about through each tool's way of checking it with customers. Plan on two PMs part-time for three to four weeks, including security review. how the import works
